I'm not interested enough to wear cute clothes every day of the week. Once or twice a week is fun. Every day is not. For example, this morning I got up, put my hair in a messy bun with a headband, put on jeans and a tank top, decided that I should probably put on a bra as well, then went shopping. That's right, without washing my face, putting on makeup, or checking pinterest to see what I should wear.
And you know what? I liked it. But I don't really like the way I feel like I need new clothes all the time when I'm constantly posting pictures. So I'm over it.
Now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk about shoes. I have been admiring the ankle boots lately (also known as booties). However, I don't want to buy any for full price, so I've been holding out. But I decided I could at least window shop. I like the taupe/light brown color (also known as nude). I sat down at my computer and google searched for "nude booties". As soon as I pushed "enter" it finally clicked into place that maybe by looking for shoes I was going to find porn instead. Uh-oh. I quickly refined my search to "nude ankle boots" and thanked the Lord that google search wasn't set on images.
So, tell me what you think of these shoes. Both of these shoes are from Target. I think the top pair is beautiful! But I can't decide if it's too over-the-top or not. I was going to ask a random Target worker for advice, but then I figured that if I was this unsure about it then I shouldn't be buying the shoes. The second pair doesn't look quite as impressive, but I think they might be more versatile.
